What happens if you are unemployed?

By Roy B. Satz and Pamela Stewart

What if you are unemployed or make much less income than you originally did when you purchased the home?  Can you still qualify for a loan modification?

Most people think they are unable to qualify for a loan modification if they are unemployed or making less income than they did when they purchased the home.  That may or may not be true and depends not only on the amount of income you are currently receiving.  Guidelines are such that they allow for lesser income, contributions by others, and various sources of other income to meet minimum requirements.  Make sure you can document your current income and as long as it meets the minimum guidelines, you should be able to qualify.

This question is dealt with and many others answered in the book “MORTGAGE MODIFICATION SECRETS” written by Roy B. Satz and Pamela Stewart and published by SOLUTIONS PRESS. It’s available online at http://www.modsecrets.com.
